Welcome to the
Maltz Museum blog!

July 25, 2013
Welcome to the Maltz Museum blog! Here is where you will get behind the scenes information, updates, staff insights, and more. Want the latest developments on our coming exhibition on the Dreyfus Affair? Couldn’t make it to an event but want to know how it was? Interested in what new artifacts have been added to our collection? You can find it all out here.

Most posts will be written by me, Adam Teresi, Operations & Media Coordinator. I have been with the Maltz Museum since February 2005 – months before the museum was completely constructed – so I have quite the institutional history. Exhibitions, programs, events, staff – I’ve seen them all come and go. Who better to get behind the scenes information from?

Other Museum Staff (and perhaps interns and a volunteer or two) will contribute to the blog as well. Let’s get staff introductions started with:

COLLEEN BARNI, Development Manager

What is your all-time favorite album?

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet

What book are you currently reading?

The Women by T.C. Boyle

If you could compare yourself to any fictional character, who would it be?

Pam Beesly from The Office

What item is always in your fridge?

Mayonnaise

Fruit in Jell-O: yes or no?

No way (it’s a textural thing)

If I were James Lipton and we were on Inside the Actor’s Studio, which of the 10 Questions would most like me to ask you and how would you answer?

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? (I’d answer that I’d like to own and operate a salumeria.)

Anything else? Do you have a joke to share?

I’m the youngest of 10 kids, I have 15 nieces and nephews, I’ve spent summers in Alaska and Italy, and I have one pet: a tuxedo cat named Amore. No jokes (I’m better with physical comedy).
