8:30 am – 4:30 pm (includes lunch)

8:15 am check-in

Echoes and Reflections equips teachers with the tools they need to help today’s students study the Holocaust as a significant event in human history, recognize the complexity of individual choices, and to define the role and responsibility of the individual to uphold the principles of a democracy. Echoes and Reflections is the result of an unprecedented partnership among three leaders in education: the Anti-Defamation League, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education, and Yad Vashem.

This free training will be facilitated by Jill Rembrandt, Director of Education and Public Programs at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage and Sherry Bard, Educational Programs, Project Director, USC Shoah Foundation Institute. And for the first time in Ohio, Sherry Bard, USC Shoah Foundation, will give an in-depth introduction and training for the newly launched iWitness!
