Free and open to the public.

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is proud to partner with Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple to present From Murder to Museums: Abraham Lincoln, Adolf Hitler, and the Hunt for Nazi-Looted Art in America.

Raymond J. Dowd, lawyer, professor, and author, will discuss his epic legal battles—which have garnered international headlines—to successfully recover artworks stolen by the Nazis. Mr. Dowd will show how history’s greatest robbery was long concealed by history’s greatest murder, but how political and legal efforts (including his own) have helped right an historic wrong and return the stolen artworks to their rightful owners—heirs of Holocaust victims.
