PLAY DISCUSSION GROUP: Conviction by Oren Neeman

Join Interplay Jewish Theater’s Faye Sholitan in a new script reading club at the Maltz Museum. Participants are given a script by an Israeli playwright ahead of time to read at home then everyone comes together for a group discussion and analysis. If you’ve never read a play before but are interested, please come, Faye will guide you through how to read a script! Remaining scripts and dates as follows:

An Israeli scholar visits Franco’s Spain in 1962 to learn the horrific fate of one particular 15th century Spanish converso. This taut drama crosses back and forth in time to examine one of history’s most shameful periods of anti-Semitism.
