The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is proud to partner with Cuyahoga Community College on a bold and empowering presentation. The Rice Experience uses a dramatic analogy set to music to unlock the power in each of us to leave a legacy of change.

With one grain of rice equating to one human life, more than 600 pounds of rice are poured out before audience members, who shift perspective as millions of grains representing millions of lives pile up.

The Rice Experience shares the story of devastating human loss due to acts of genocide over the past century, including current losses in Darfur and Congo.
