Free Admission – Wednesday, September 19

As part of Charter One’s strong commitment to supporting communities in which they serve and fostering diversity, the Charter One Foundation underwrites its second day the Maltz Museum opens free to the public: Wednesday, September 19.   Visit the Museum’s permanent collections, An American Story and The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery – don’t miss the special exhibition Precious Objects!

Recently added: Join us at 2pm for All About Bees and Honey, a special guest lecture by Dennis Eck, former president of The Greater Cleveland Beekeepers Association.  Celebrate the Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) tradition of apples and honey with a look at beekeeping and honey making – followed by a honey tasting.

Charter One wants everyone to experience the Maltz Museum and its exhibitions. “The Charter One Foundation is pleased to underwrite free museum days…at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage,” said Ken Marblestone, President, Charter One and RBS Citizens in Ohio. “These free days will give everyone in our community an opportunity to experience this museum which promotes an appreciation, tolerance and understanding of different religions, races, cultures and ethnic backgrounds.”

The Museum will be open 11am – 9pm.
