INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION on the lawn of the Maltz Museum

Wednesday, July 4 (12 – 2pm)

Bring the family and enjoy free live Americana music; hot dogs and other refreshments available for purchase. The Museum will be open 11am – 7pm. Receive a free hot dog coupon with paid Museum admission!

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon making art, learning about Jewish and Polish folk traditions, and touring A Blessing to One Another: Pope John Paul II and the Jewish People. Don’t miss a special performance by the Piast Polish Folk Dance Ensemble at 1:30pm! All free with Museum admission!

Go back in time to the radio days of the 1940s, when Jewish songwriters dominated the airways, film and Broadway stage with the music of the greatest generation. Your favorite tunes from the American Songbook come alive again with performances by four members of the Cleveland TOPS Swingband with Ron Davis on vocals.
