Stop the Hate® Youth Speak Out celebrates students committed to creating a more accepting, inclusive society. By reflecting on real-life situations and detailing ways to make a positive difference in the world, this next generation of leaders can win big.

Entries must be received electronically, by mail or hand-delivered by 11:59pm on the following dates. Late entries will not be accepted:

Grade 6-10: Wed, January 8, 2020
Grade 11-12: Mon, January 20, 2020

To enter electronically:

Electronic entry is STRONGLY preferred.
After the contest launches on Sept. 11, 2019 click the “Official Entry Form” button above to prepare your official entry form and upload your finished essay.

To enter by mail/delivery:

  • Electronic entry is preferred
  • If students have limited Internet access, entries may be hand-delivered or mailed
  • See complete contest rules above for mail-in entry form
