Lessons from the Tree of Life: Lighting the Path Forward is a traveling exhibition on the community’s response to the mass shootings at The Tree of Life Synagogue on October 27, 2018, the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history. Featuring artifacts given to the Pittsburgh Jewish community in the aftermath of the attack, this powerful exhibition challenges visitors to reflect on the impact of antisemitism in America. Created in partnership with the Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives at the Heinz History Center, The Tree of Life inspires action to build a future rooted in resilience and understanding.
Lessons from The Tree of Life: Lighting the Path Forward is presented in partnership with the Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives at the Heinz History Center and with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Ford Foundation.
