The Maltz Museum proudly announces the 2026 Stop the Hate Youth Speak Out and Youth Sing Out Awards finalists, recognizing the powerful voices of 3,628 students from more than 150 Northeast Ohio schools. Through essays, poems, and original songs, students explored issues of hate, discrimination, and bullying—sharing personal stories that foster empathy, build bridges, and inspire positive change. As the Museum’s signature educational initiative, Stop the Hate empowers young people to stand up against injustice while competing for a share of $100,000 in scholarships and educational grants, made possible through the generosity of Milton and Tamar Maltz.
The community is invited to celebrate these remarkable students at this free awards ceremony, hosted by Gabriella Kreuz, Cleveland sports personality and founder of Love Doesn’t Shove. Advanced registration is required. The Maltz Museum extends heartfelt thanks to presenting sponsors The Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Foundation and Maltz Family Foundation, along with its dedicated signature sponsors, for their steadfast support in helping create a more inclusive and compassionate future.
