The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery: A Crown Jewel of the Maltz Museum
The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery is among the oldest synagogal Judaica collections in the U. S. It was established by Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver in 1950 to celebrate Jewish material culture, elevate the everyday ritual experience, and educate the congregation. More than 150 objects that span 500 years of Jewish cultures from all over the world are displayed in the light-filled gallery.
