Bias lives inside all of us. It’s not a flaw, it’s how the brain is wired. But once you understand why, everything changes. In A Closer Look: The Science of Bias, Kirsten Ellenbogen PhD, CEO of the Great Lakes Science Center, takes you inside the science of how your brain automatically sorts, categorizes, and judges, often without you even realizing it. She’ll equip you with the tools to have the hard conversations, challenge your own assumptions, and see how your hidden biases quietly shape the way you experience the world around you.
The science is real. The impact is personal. Are you ready to take a closer look?
We hope you’ll be part of it. Space is limited, so reserve your seat early.
Don’t forget to arrive early to visit our new exhibition: The Bias Inside Us and get a sneak peek into some of what you are about to learn!
