Millions of young people read Anne Frank’s diary each year. The book and its author have become international icons to diverse groups for differing reasons. Join Jay Geller, PhD, Samuel Rosenthal Professor of Judaic Studies, Department of History, CWRU, for a multi-part discussion on The Many Lives of Anne Frank, part of the Yale University Press Jewish Lives Series. Participants will consider Anne Frank’s life, the Holocaust in the Netherlands, the diary’s journey to becoming an internationally famous book, and the many afterlives that Anne’s legacy has had.
