Inviting Children of Holocaust Survivors to Explore How the Holocaust Has Impacted Your Life
Sunday, January 5, 3:00 pm
Held at Maltz Museum
Free to attend
Through self-directed, small group discussion, Second Generation Holocaust survivors (2Gs) will explore their life experiences. Children of Holocaust survivors contend with the legacies handed down to them by their survivor parents, affected by the trauma of the Holocaust, regardless of how much their parents had or hadn’t told them, and the impact touches their lives in myriad ways. This group will allow 2G’s to explore the impact of this generational trauma.
Let’s start the discussion using Eva Hoffman’s book: After Such Knowledge.
Participants are responsible for getting a copy of the book either by purchase or from the library.
