Take part in this discussion with Prof. Avinoam Patt, author of the new book, Israel and the Holocaust, as he reflects on the tragedy of October 7, which for many Israelis may cause deeper identification with the history of Jewish suffering during the Shoah. His new perspective sheds light on the history of Israel’s relationship with the memory of the Holocaust, and how recent events may cause the memory of the Shoah to be bound ever closer in the collective memory of the nation.
