Samuel Ryan Silverman is a Cleveland artist, composer, and musician, who also happens to have a disability. But that has not stopped him from creating art and music that expresses how he sees and hears the world. On Sunday, September 11, join Samuel for a special performance of his original compositions, performed by Pianist Adam Whiting – including the premier of Just Look at that Sunshine, inspired by the Maltz Museum’s upcoming exhibition, This Light of Ours. The concert will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A, featuring Samuel in conversation with visual artist Kate Snow, and music therapist Patty Console MT-BC, moderated by Rebecca Rinaldi, Community Activities Administrator of PLAN of JFSA, a membership organization for individuals with mental illness, cognitive disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.
