Survivors: In Conversation is a public presentation where visitors are invited to hear a 30-minute personal stories from a Holocaust Survivor, Second Generation (2G), or Third Generation (3G) speaker. Each session is followed by time for questions and meaningful conversation about history, resilience, and memory.

Hate has known many forms in human history, from acts of global violence to everyday discrimination. This tour offers an interactive experience that complements the Museum’s annual Stop the Hate® program. Through powerful museum artifacts and interactive storytelling, visitors will explore the impact of hate, bias, and discrimination, and reflect on the ways each of us can help build a more inclusive world.

Using state-of-the-art technology, the Museum partnered with StoryFile to capture the courageous life story of Cleveland icon and civil rights activist Reverend Dr. Otis Moss Jr, as an Interactive Conversational Biography. An artificial intelligence (AI) version of Rev. Moss can answer audience questions in real time, mimicking an actual conversation.

The Maltz Museum has partnered with the USC Shoah Foundation to preserve Holocaust memories through artificial intelligence (A.I.) technology. Audiences can now speak with the A.I. version of Stanley Bernath, a local Cleveland Holocaust survivor who spoke to thousands of students and adults about his experiences during World War II. Ask questions and hear his answers, mimicking a real conversation with someone who lived through history!
