The 1985 Academy Award Winner for Best Live Action Short Film, this movie examines the struggles of a young Russian-Jewish girl as she learns to adapt to life in America. Using humor and drama, the film uncovers the Jewish roots of the holiday of Thanksgiving and teaches a lesson of religious tolerance and friendship. (21 min.)
